
Amanda Schnayer
Au.D., CCC-ADirector of Audiology
Dr. Amanda Schnayer, Au.D., CCC-A obtained her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Loyola University Chicago and clinical doctorate in audiology from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. She graduated with a Pediatric Audiology Specialization, which she earned from taking additional coursework and clinical practicum in pediatrics and educational audiology. She has experience selecting, fitting, and troubleshooting hearing aids, bone conduction devices, and cochlear implants. For several years Dr. Schnayer worked in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), where she performed hearing screenings for newborns.
Dr. Schnayer has held several leadership positions, including serving on the Board of Directors with the Student Academy of Audiology. She enjoys interacting with her patients and being a part of their hearing journey. She follows best practice measures within audiology and stays up to date on the latest research. She works hard to provide each patient with the gold standard measures of testing, hearing device selection, and fitting. The patient experience is very important to Dr. Schnayer. She takes time to ensure each patient feels educated about their hearing and options.
Dr. Schnayer enjoys spending time outdoors, reading, traveling, hiking, and doing CrossFit.
