
Kayla Iwanier
M.S., CCC-SLPKayla is a speech pathologist specializing in the evaluation and treatment of voice and upper airway disorders, as well as the rehabilitation of patients with oral, head and neck cancers.
She received her bachelor’s degree from California State University, Fullerton, and master’s degree from Arizona State University. Before joining AOC, Kayla worked in private practice, inpatient rehabilitation and an outpatient voice clinic.
With a strong clinical interest in multidisciplinary care, Kayla is passionate about supporting patients throughout the continuum of their care, ensuring holistic and compassionate support at every stage.
Trained in MDTP (McNeill Dysphagia Therapy Program), ARK-J, PhoRTE, Pharyngocise, LSVT and manual therapy techniques, Kayla brings a diverse skill set to clinical practice. Central to her approach is the belief in empowering patients through a collaborative therapeutic relationship, fostering trust and honoring patient autonomy in all aspects of care.
Outside of clinical practice, Kayla enjoys weightlifting, pottery, hiking and spending quality time with her friends, family and two beloved dogs.
